Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Accidents can happen in an instant, but the effects can impact you for a lifetime. OPA’s accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage helps protect yourself and your family from financial hardship if faced with sudden and tragic circumstances.

What is Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance?

You can’t predict the future, but you can plan for it. Accidents can happen at any time, to anyone and they can sometimes cause major life changes and adjustments. Often, the personal grief following a tragic accident is magnified by sudden and severe financial consequences. You can protect yourself and your family from financial hardship with single or family plan accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage under OPA’s program.

AD&D insurance from OPA is a group plan, so you can rest assured that you will receive competitive rates. When you choose OPA insurance, you are getting a program developed by pharmacists, for pharmacists. Our program is managed and underwritten by reputable insurers, and administered and overseen by the Ontario Pharmacists Association, so you receive personalized service from us. If you have questions about your coverage or if you ever need to make a claim, we’re here to help.

The Ontario Pharmacists Association’s AD&D plan is voluntary insurance that covers you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, both on and off the job.
