A guide to assist pharmacy professionals in determining a fair value for the administration of substances by injection or inhalation services provided to patients, subject to certain limitations as specified in the regulations. The intent of this document is to provide a suggested rate and associated rationale; however, pharmacy professionals may decide to charge whatever they deem to be fair, reasonable and appropriate in their individual settings. Additional resources are also provided to support pharmacy professionals with implementing this expansion of scope into practice.
