Dr. Sydney Morin earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (Research Profile) from Université Laval, followed by the successful completion of a postgraduate residency at Hôpital Montfort. She currently practices as a clinical pharmacist at Hôpital Montfort, with a focus in cardiology.
She is the Founder and Director of the RxEducator Initiative (REI), an innovative non-profit organization devoted to patient education and community outreach, particularly among vulnerable populations.
Dr. Morin also serves as a Chair of the East Chapter of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (Ontario Branch), where she plays a key leadership role in promoting professional development.
Deeply committed to the advancement of pharmaceutical education, Dr. Morin works as a clinical professor at the University of Ottawa’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where she is dedicated to fostering excellence in the training of future pharmacists. She is also a devoted cardiology preceptor, mentoring pharmacy students and residents from various academic institutions.
In addition, Dr. Morin holds the title of Clinician Researcher at the Institut du Savoir Montfort, contributing to numerous clinical research studies aimed at improving patient care. Actively involved in a wide range of educational and research initiatives, Dr. Morin sits on several committees within both hospital and academic settings.
