The Ontario Pharmacists Association recognizes the important and unique role of hospital pharmacists.
We are committed to ensuring that expanded scope of practice regulations also apply to hospital pharmacists, that you have the opportunity to provide services consistent with your education and training, and that your contributions to the system are measured and appropriately recognized.
We’re working hard to ensure the needs of hospital pharmacists are met, but we can’t do it without your support. Your OPA membership compliments your other professional memberships, and strengthens your connection to the pharmacy profession as a whole.
Membership also provides you with benefits and discounts on a range of personal and professional purchases, including our continuing education programs. It entitles you to purchase our best-in-class insurance plans and it gives you access to important professional resources.
Eligibility: You are a licensed pharmacist, work full-time in a hospital, are in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, and live in Ontario.
Privileges: The opportunity to hold positions on the Board and committees. (No voting privileges.)
Ontario Pharmacists Association memberships may be cancelled at any time, however membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Requests made in writing within 10 calendar days of purchase may be considered, however, in all cases, an administration fee of up to 10 per cent of the membership fee (plus HST) will be charged.
