Connie Beck was elected to the Ontario Pharmacists Association's (OPA's) Board of Directors as the Pharmacy Technician Representative in 2017.
Connie became a registered pharmacy technician in 2010. Her career in pharmacy spans more than 15 years and includes work experience in retail, long-term care, and specialized compounding pharmacies. In the past, Connie has taught the Pharmacy Technician Bridging courses at Niagara College and Sheridan College online through Ontario Learn. She is currently Coordinator and Professor of the Pharmacy Technician Program at Lambton College. In addition to being a Registered Pharmacy Technician she holds a Bachelor of Science from Brock University and a Masters in Education, with a specialization in Educational Leadership, from the University of Western Ontario.
She is currently a member of the Accreditation Committee for Pharmacy Technician Programs for the Canadian Council of Accreditation for Pharmacy Programs. She is also a former Board member for the Canadian Mental Health Association and a former member of the Pharmacy Advisory Committee for Niagara College.
