Bill Wilson received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S.P.) from the University of Saskatchewan and subsequently completed a hospital pharmacy residency at the Toronto General Hospital. Bill has held several positions in hospital pharmacy management including Toronto General Hospital, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and most recently was Director of Pharmacy and Audiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
Bill has experience with a number of pharmacy associations including serving as President of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP) nationally and provincially, President of the Canadian Pharmacists Association, a past member and Chair of the Canadian Pharmacy Residency Board and has served as a member of the Board of the Ontario Pharmacists Association. He is currently the Vice President of the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy. He served on several committees with these organizations and continues to be involved. Bill also served as a part time lecturer at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto in the Social/Admin Division. Bill is also involved in consulting as well as chairing a community-based Ethics Review Board.
