As a pharmacist, you know how critical timely treatment is for patients living with opioid use disorder (OUD). Yet across Ontario, healthcare providers and patients often struggle to identify which pharmacies offer specialized services like methadone or Suboxone.

That’s why the Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) is launching the Ontario Pharmacy Opioid Services Locator (POSL). This new tool is a free, online resource to help hospitals, emergency departments, providers, and patients quickly locate pharmacies that offer these services.

How it works:

  • Pharmacies across Ontario can voluntarily add their information to the locator.
  • Listings include your services offered, hours of operation and contact details, so patients and providers can easily connect with your pharmacy.
  • The tool will improve referrals, strengthen care continuity, and expand access to critical treatment services.

By participating, you will help close treatment gaps, improve referrals, and ensure patients get the support they need faster.

We’d love to see you and your pharmacy featured on this important new tool. You can add your information at the link below.
