Presented by Roland Halil, this online module discusses the evidence-based process for choosing pharmacotherapy and prioritizing what is most important when you have prescribing dilemmas. This module also helps to dispel marketing myths in pharmacotherapy.

Program Outline
This program consists of one online module and a multiple-choice exam.

Learning objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to

  • Describe a process for choosing pharmacotherapy and prioritizing prescribing dilemmas.
  • Highlight how such a process can save harm, time and money, prevent harm and enhance comfort applying evidence-based medicine to individual patients.
  • Dispel marketing myths in pharmacotherapy.

Program Completion

To receive the letter of completion for this program, participants will be required to complete the following requirements before April 4, 2020: 

  1. Complete the program’s online modules. Instructions will be emailed after registration.
  2. Complete the multiple-choice exam, achieving a score of 70 per cent or higher within a maximum two attempts.
  3. Complete a program evaluation.
