The Allied Health Professional Development Fund (AHPDF) is a program supported by the Ontario government as part of HealthForceOntario. Through this program, health care professionals are eligible to receive funding for professional development activities including Continuing Education courses that are clinically relevant to their practice and improve their knowledge or leadership skills.

Some conditions (please see the AHPDF website for more details)

Pharmacists are encouraged to submit applications for as many programs as they wish; however, funding for at least one submission per applicant is a priority. Multiple applications will be allowed if funding is available.

Submit only one application for each program you have attended. No advanced funding is available (i.e., you must submit documentation of course completion).

Ensure you submit all required documentation with your application.

Exam fees are not covered by this fund.

The Ontario Pharmacists’ Association and the Drug Information and Research Centre strongly encourage all pharmacists who have attended our CE programs to apply for funding. While funding is not guaranteed, all OPA/DIRC certificate programs are eligible for reimbursement. Utilization of current funding may determine subsequent availability.
