Update on the ODBA/DIDFA regulatory changes
In the June 17 Special Session which followed the Annual General Meeting at the OPA Conference, an update to Drug System Reform was presented by OPA CEO Dennis Darby and Past Chair Dean Miller. This presentation provided a glimpse at the feedback received to the long list of technical and operational questions raised by OPA, CACDS and IPO representatives in a June 10 letter to Minister Matthews and discussed at a meeting with Ministry staff. Pharmacy representatives were informed that the Ministry plans to release a Question and Answer document imminently on the operationalizing of the regulatory changes.
