The Ontario Pharmacists' Association takes great pride in its Government Relations activities. We advocate on behalf of our members so pharmacists may be able to practice in an ideal environment where patients across the province of Ontario may benefit significantly when visiting their local pharmacist.
To encourage proper grassroots advocating, the OPA has developed many programs and strategies to move the profession of pharmacy forward. From our MPP Pharmacist Link program, government submissions, GR Business Plan, to our public awareness campaign, the OPA dedicates a fair amount of time and resources in ensuring the voices of pharmacists are heard at Queen's Park and in all levels of Government.
W OPA members can access complete details about the Government Relations process at OPA, by clicking on the Members section of the site, then clicking on the Government Relations page. For further information about Government Relations, please contact Saurabh Popat, Director, Public Affairs at: spopat@opatoday.com or (416) 441-0788 ext. 4231.
